According to the measures announced on October 30, 2014, the Government proposes to increase, as of July 2015, the universal provision for childcare (UCCB) by paying $ 160 per month per child under the age of 6 years old, which is an increase from the current payment of $ 100. It also proposes to establish a new benefit of $ 60 per month for children aged between 6 to 17 years old. The payments of the enhanced UCCB will be made starting in July 2015.

Parents eligible for the new benefit for children aged 6 to 17 years old will begin receiving $ 60 per month per eligible child starting ​​in July 2015. To be eligible for this new benefit, parents must complete the admission form for Canada Child Benefits.
